Project 1b
This project aims to deduct a position for finding architecture and produce architectural design strategy. We are to individually interpret the idea of ‘Community Centre’ and come up with architectural design strategy in-reflection to the issues and inspirations in the Project 1a in order to offer to character, continuity and enclose, quality of public realm, ease of movement, legibility, adaptability and diversity in the city.
Inspired by the aged brick walls observed in the site, the main idea is to expose the interior of the building to create visual permeability. Human movements around and inside are celebrated to create a dynamic facade where people attracts people.
